The UCSB Dive and Boat Safety Program oversees UCSB's SCUBA programs and research projects requiring theuse of SCUBA or boats. This program also enables UCSB to meet the scientific diving standards of theOccupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the American Academy of Underwater Sciences(AAUS) by providing the training, dive planning and logistical support required for this type of underwater work.
