Situated on Cook%u2019s Bay along the north shore of theisland of Mo%u2019orea, the University of California GumpResearch Station is a premiere field station wherescientists conduct critical research on the coral reefsand the many marine species that make their home inthe warm waters of French Polynesia.Much of the work being done at Gump ResearchStation is led by UC Santa Barbara scientists, many ofwhom are seeking to understand how global changeand other disturbances are impacting coral reef health.
